Privacy Policy
Effective October 7, 2026
This policy covers studioharrison.com and the QuickBooks Online integration used by Harrison Design LLC, doing business as Studio Harrison. "We" and "us" mean Harrison Design LLC.
Short version: we collect very little, and we never sell it.
QuickBooks integration
- It reads accounting data from Studio Harrison's own QuickBooks Online company, like expenses, bills, vendors and reports.
- We use that data only to report to the owner, Joel Harrison, for internal bookkeeping.
- It only reads. It never creates, changes or deletes anything in QuickBooks.
- We don't sell this data or use it for advertising. The only outside services that see it are the ones that run our own tools, such as our hosting and the AI assistant that prepares the reports, and they use it only to do that work.
- The keys that connect to QuickBooks are stored privately and not shared.
- You can disconnect it at any time from QuickBooks or your Intuit account. After that, no more data is read.
This website
The site has no analytics, no ad trackers and no tracking pixels, and it doesn't set any cookies of its own. Here is everything it does collect or pass along.
Premium Unleaded email gate
To read Premium Unleaded you enter your email. We log your email, the time, what you view or download, your browser info, the page that sent you, whether you have been before, and the web address you used.
The log is stored privately with Vercel, our web host. Only Joel and the studio's own tools can open it. We keep it until Joel deletes it.
The first time a new email comes in, Joel gets one text and one email with that address and the time. They are sent through Inkbox, the service that sends his messages.
Your browser also saves your email on your device, so you don't have to type it again next time.
Booking a call
Book buttons open Cal.com, our booking service. To make that quick, most pages load Cal.com's booking script a few seconds after they open, so Cal.com gets a normal web request from your browser and may set its own cookies. If you book, Cal.com handles what you enter under its own privacy policy.
Other services some pages use
- The Journey page shows Joel's 3D Time Navigator, a separate app of ours, also hosted on Vercel. It remembers on your device whether its side panel is open.
- Two pages, The Studio and Parrotfish, load fonts from Google Fonts, and Parrotfish reads a public Google Sheet to show the current bid. On those pages Google gets a normal web request from your browser.
- Pages link out to sites like X, Cal.com and Zoom. Those sites have their own privacy policies.
Saved only in your browser
If you vote on the Ideas page, your votes and view settings are saved in your browser only. They never leave your device. The suggestion box on the Building page opens your own email app, and nothing is sent unless you send that email.
Hosting logs
The site runs on Vercel. Like any web host, Vercel keeps standard request logs, such as your IP address, your browser and the page you asked for, to run and protect the service.
What we never do
We don't sell or rent personal data, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't share it with anyone to market to you.
Questions or deletion
To ask what we have about you, or to have it deleted, email joel@studioharrison.com
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
