I would recommend paid search to start, as we can easily target people searching for "Fishing License" and similar terms related exactly to what our audience will be searching for.
This is a new channel for us, so not exactly sure how to price it out just yet. Probably we would manage this process and source the right guy to support our campaign build outs for YouTube. Good place for SC to advertiser imo. People go to YouTube for more specific searches like "How do I..." and we'd do our homework first, but I'm certain people are searching for terms like "How do I teach my daughter/son to Fish" or "How do I setup a tent for hunting" and similar search terms related to hunting, fishing and boating. Not only can we place SC within these type of video ads, but we can go a step further and create what they call Interactive Video Ads, where we can create our own video content that's unique to specific search criteria. Within these videos, think "How To" videos, we can send users down very specific flows. Very cool, engaging and highly converting sales funnels can be found here. Just need to discuss, research and make sure it's a good fit for SC. Maybe not immediately, but something to consider for down the road.

Amazon marketing, if that's a fit for SC, some really amazing stuff we can do there. i.e., Anytime a consumer buys fishing or hunting gear, we can display SC ads to that consumer. I'm not 100% sure this is open to advertisers outside of Amazon's ecosystem, but I believe it will be in the near future, so something to keep in mind. No other Ad Network, including FB or Google, can targeting based on real time buyer purchases like Amazon can. Huge opportunity for growth there imo and not saturated.
Affiliate network distribution. Can assist with taking SC to various affiliate/performance marketing networks. Though this typically comes after fully understanding internal data and what type of CPA's (Cost Per Acquisition) SC would need to back into, in order to be profitable. Once we are confident that we can pay X for a lead, we can turn around and create an affiliate program that can be scaleable quite quickly if given to the right sources. I have contacts throughout the industry that can assist with such distribution if/when needed. I would recommend hiring dedicated Account/Affiliate Managers to properly handle and manage all affiliate traffic. This is important to ensure brand integrity and monitor traffic for fraud, etc.

From sales funnels and marketing efforts, where we will be collecting email addresses and other customer data, even prior to them converting into a paid SC member. Proper list management and segmentation will be important to the growth of SC and ability to fully and properly monetize every lead generated from each marketing channel and ad campaign. To start, I would recommend an ESP such as MailChimp which should be fully capable of handling all of SC email needs. There's some really cool, dynamic stuff we can do with email as well. We can dive into that when the time comes. We would likely bring in the right email marketer(s) to assist with this, and we would simply manage them to ensure brand integrity, etc.

Sales Funnel Design
Be it 3rd party platforms such as ClickFunnels or custom built in-house solutions, we can design, build and integrate sales funnels for cold, warm and hot traffic and implement a system that will direct SC customers to the appropriate path, depending exactly where they are within the sales pipeline. Includes retargeting pixel integration.
Competitive analysis for the biggest players in the fishing, hunting and boating industries. This will help SC identify what traffic sources related brands are buying media from, which channels they are leveraging most heavily (facebook, youtube, google, email), organic search vs. paid keyword competition (for any keywords, i.e, fishing, hunting, etc) and even which folders (landing pages) on their servers are getting the most traffic, along with a variety of other data. SC can leverage this data to develop and launch new ad campaigns and strategies without having to spend nearly as money on testing.
